PB & J isn't the worse option, but I can see how it could get boring if eaten a lot

. Have you considered seeing a dietician? It might be worth doing... Not only would a dietician be able to suggest meal ideas, but also could help in improving your control

As for lunch ideas...
A whole wheat wrap with turkey (or other lean lunch meat) and fruit
A big salad with lots of veggies, low fat dressing, and a whole wheat roll
Soup and Salad
Veggie or low fat turkey burger with veggies and fruit
