Funnee Diabetes Stories

When I was still really a newbie, my mum's friend was over, and I pricked my finger in front of her. Immediately afterwards, she asked "did it bleed (well duh)?" I said yes, and so she asked "where? I can't see it". This of course, prompted me to squeeze the tip of my finger... resulting in a fine spray of blood down the side of Elaine's face!

I felt awful at the time, and very embarrased, while mum was in stitches and Elaine just sat there horrified...

I don't think I'll ever forget the look on her face...
