Thank you for your reply. Tell your son that I am extremely proud of him and I wish him the very best. As for the Basic Training, I have done my research. My brother just completed Basic at Fort Benning for the Infantry, and explained that he knows I could make it through that. I have spoken with countless recruiters and military personnel. After all I have learned, I truly believe that I would make it through. There is also another bright spot for me. I am currently enrolled at the University of Georgia full-time. This would make me eligible for the ROTC program. After ROTC, I would enter the military as an officer. ROTC takes the place of Basic Traing, so I would not have to endure that.
