I believe he is. They took a drug off the market called Phen Phen and Phentermine doesn't have that drug that mess with your heart in it that Phen Phen had. I asked him if it was okay to take this medicine with me having diabetes and he said I would be fine. My BS is low enough for me to come of my meds. I just have to drop the weight to come off my meds and everything else as far as my blood and heart checks out. I've been taking this phentermine for a week and so far my BS levels have been great and I find myself with more energy...What was your docs reason for not taking it?
