Sick and HATING BEING HIGH... HELP!!! Okay, I thought I was so good over Easter. I was away on a camp from Friday to Monday, had no chocolate AT ALL (wow, i do have willpower!), may have had a couple of drinks too many one night (Okay, I could hardly stand and my friend had to half carry me back to the lodge), but I still don't understand how I got up on monday with a bgl of 7.4, then was 32.1 at lunchtime when all i had eaten was a slice of cape seed toast and an apple! I took 16 units on top of my normal 8, and an hour later was reading "HI", with large ketones... **** **** **** **** ****!!!!! FINAALLY managed to get down (well, to 22, then 16) but... HOW??????? Grrr, I've now developed croup, and generally feel crappy!! Does anybody else have constant probs like this? Unfortunately, it ain't rare 4 me
