| I've overcome any inhibitions about testing in front of strangers. I feel a little shy about it for some unknown reason, but it's all psychological. I just remind myself that I'm doing what I have to do to survive and if anyone gets offended, it's just too bad.
When I was on MDI, I usually kept my insulin in the car in a cooler or lunch pack, so I'd just go out to the car and inject. I still don't feel comfortable taking injections in front of people, but then again I don't feel comfortable when mothers breast feed in public (please don't flame me). |
