Well, when I had it replaced, it was for
that reason. The support person was very nice & apologetic, and sent a replacement on a Friday afternoon, which arrived Saturday morning. I'm having similar issues with this one, but I've had it for a loong time now (since about May of 04 or whenever the other one had its issue) and have bumped it, dropped it & banged into things, etc., without trouble (till now).
