I,too, am so sorry that you had that experience but at least we can all learn from it. Someone posted something about staying higher (B.S.) when ill. I totally agree and have learned this through experience. It is easier to THINK when you are higher rather than too low. Constant monitoring is a good thing. Recently, I experienced a mentally stressful situation and felt my adrenaline pumping away. I was sure that my B.S. would be high when I checked an hour later. It always has been that way. Guess what, it was 69. Go figure! I am so glad that I didn't bolus a little for the stress and instead waited it out. This disease can be highly unpredictable and not that much fun but at least we have each other!!--Yvonne
