When I developed diabetes I lost weight so if I allow my blood sugar to run high and force my body to burn fat for fuel, would that work?
where's the smiley face after such a comment?

I would assume in order to loose weight, one must burn body fat which will cause a rise in the ketones.
I think that only happens when you're BG is out of whack.

To lose weight you have to burn calories and exercising burns calories. So, if you exercise and keep watch over your BG and make sure it's in the acceptable range you would be OK
