Hey there!!

Yeah, it's tough to say what to expect, I would think (if you are type 1.5) that they'd start with medication and advice/education on better meals and stuff, get you testing your blood sugar and tracking what you eat to get an idea how things affect you.

Track the changes, stay healthy, enjoy the "honeymoon" and hope it lasts as long as possible.... There seem to be lots of theories on how to help this happen, most that I've read seem to involve getting on insulin sooner rather than later to assist your still functioning pancreas. I think the medications are more geared towards type 2... but I am no expect and might be wrong.

Glad you found the forum, it should be a huge help.
