If you're getting a Minimed pump but haven't yet placed your order, I believe that you will automatically get the 522/722, not the 515/715. BUT, that doesn't mean you also get the whole CGMS kit. That is extra. All you'll get is the pump that is capable of receiving and displaying the info from the CGMS. The pump, with that exception, is the same as the 515/715 - no new features. I believe the starter kit (transmitter + 10 sensors) runs around $1,000. Insurance isn't covering that so you'd have to pay out of pocket for the starter kit and then $350 for each box of 10 sensors after that.

I'd love to try it but I'm still not sold on the idea. I'd much rather wait and see how it's working and wait for (hopefully) insurance to cover it.
