| Quick rant I swear sometimes this disease makes no sense. So I'm making a HUGE effort to get my levels under control and it's been pretty successful (in 4 weeks my meter average has gone from near 250 to 188!). I'm trying to get my insulin-carb ratio down, so I've been eating the same thing for the past few days, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The results have been great. But then tonight, I eat the exact same dinner I've eaten the past two nights, and I take the same amount of insulin. but whereas my bedtime levels were at 120 last night, tonight they're at 283?!?!? I'm in the middle of finals, so my daytime activity has been the exact same (i.e. sitting at a desk studying for 15 hours a day). What other factors could lead to such a huge discrepancy?
