ALOT has changed from 2000 (when the 3rd edition came out I believe.) I know the new book talks about the different combo type boluses for each pump and also talks about the IOB settings. Both of which are very important to understand at least to some level if you use either. I personally would wait unless you get the 3rd edition for around $5.
