Millien,

When I was first diagnosed.....1970.....the whole family took classes, plural. We went for three years in a row at the American Diabetes Association Headquarters....then in St. Louis Park MN.

Those classes are why I am still here now, and although I have complications.....I am here and working to stay around for a long time.

Good luck, lot's of new info since then!!!!!!
