| I would imagine diabetic shock would be low blood sugar. However, it seems people in the press and entertainment don't really understand any of the terms related to diabetes and they will use whatever they feel comfortable with to describe any situation. I've heard people in television use terms like shock (or perhaps diabetic shock) when talking about high blood sugar and ketoacidosis when talking about insulin reaction. They just don't know what they are talking about.
