Problem with migraine

For about a year, I suffer maybe once a month of migraine. When it happens, I'm unable to do anything. The pain is so strong that sometimes, it gives me nausea. All I have to do is to go sleeping and wait the pain disappear. The migraine takes about 12 to 24 hours to disappear.

Currently, I have no idea about the reason why since one year I have migaine. I'm asking myself if diabetes have something related with that.

I saw a doctor last week and receive a prescription from him for Axert which is a medication for migraine. But I'm afraid to take it since in the product description, it is mentioned that the product is not safe for diabetic, poeple with high pressure and with a cardiopathy. I have these three counterindication so I don't know why this doctor gives me this prescription. I'll talk about it with my endo.

Does someone here know about this pills or suffer of migraine ?
