JacquiS..............what time are you taking the medication? The reason I ask is because I was taking 10mg of Amitriptyline right before goiing to bed at around 10 or 11pm and was waking up exhausted. My sister-in-law, a nurse practitioner, told me to take it about 2 hours earlier. I started taking it at around 8pm and found that I wasn't tired when I woke up. If possible, you may want to give this a try. It may work for you also.
