These are also symptoms of an anxiety attack. The fact that doctors seem to think "it's all in your head" could also turn out to be not bad at all: if you do have anxiety attacks, it's way better than having diabetes, trust me, I've had both.

But if you could get hold of a glucometer and test at various times of the day, i.e. before and 2 hours after a meal, etc. you could post your readings here and reassure yourself about them. Everyone here is more than helpful.
