| anywere from 1.5 hours to 2 hours after eating my sugars are in the high 7's
i eat small meals often so by the time its time for a snack my sugars have not gone back down enough thus landing in the high 8's
if i wait too long to have a snack i get really tired and yawn so much i get short of breath, i get shaky and irritated.....
i have to say that my sugars are always in the 7 or 8s, because i eat small things often. I don't really understand this though because i don't eat anything sweet my snacks ususally consist of rice cakes or friut(due to allergies i can't eat many snack foods) some fruits make me feel even worse (melons for example) this is the main reason that i think these sugars are to high for me.... my family are really big on sweets i've seen my sister eat a chocolate bar big enough for 3 people and her sugar was 5.8 i ate a small piece and i woke up in the middle of the night shaking, palpitations, blurred vision, freezing cold but hot at the same time....
i just don't understand all i want is to feel good thats all....
the doctor i saw today mentioned reactive hypoglycemia and said the only way to treat is by eating 6 small meals a day... i've tried that it didn't do the trick....
i'm sick of waking up in the morning feeling like i've been run over...
as for fasting sugars they are normal 4.3 to 5.8
so i'm running out of ideas and options
sorry for the rant |
