What do you mean? Other illnesses, whether they are infectious or metabolic, will cause blodd sugars to bounce around, right? Hmm....I wonder then if all along, my past few years of trying to control my sugars, even being consistent with what I eat and how much insulin (ratios) that sometimes work and most of the time don't, sugars ranging from the 50s to the 400s within the same day, etc., I maight have another chronic disease that has always been overlooked! Another endocrine problem? An infection -viral, bacterial, fungal, parasital(sp?). Maybe just a small insignifiacnt infection, such as a skin infection, always having an open wound, can cause my sugars to stay high? When I'm thinking that the high sugars was the primary problem, causing the skin infections to become worse, and now, they both are feeding off one another! What do you think? Am I just crazy?

I spend every day, every hour, now, troubleshooting and trying to figure out my body.
