Burst blood vessels in fingers???

Just wondering if anyone else has ever had burst blood vessels in their fingers. I have what looks like bruises on two of my fingers, one is right on the knuckle. They are blue in the area, the one on the knuckle has started to turn a little purple, and feels like jelly underneath. The other finger is still blue, turning a little on the purple side, and a bit swollen. Just wondering if this is my new normal thing to look for. (I was diagnosed with Type 1 2.5 years ago.)

Thanks,
Tyna
