genetic?

Hi there! My husband was diagnoesd with type 1 (which we think is now type 1.5) at 26 years old. We just had a son in January and I'm very interested to hear if anyone has found any research on the risk my son has of developing type 1 or 1.5? Most of the research I have read has said that it all depends on the age of the father but does not give me any numbers? I've also read that our son has a 1 in 17 chance of developing type 1 BUT again many of them say the age of diagnosis can play a factor. Any ideas?
