This pump is pretty much self explanitory to me as far as its standard electronic use.
You can also test out various situations that you wouldn't want to do 'live' to see how the pump reacts to various BG and Bolus combinations. Oh yes, the Walsh book "Pumping Insulin" is like the 'real world' instruction manual for any pump user. It's a lot at first, but after a few times through and putting the steps to use, it will make more sense.

and BTW, pumping at first may feel like a step backwards, numbers wise, but give it time. It took me about 3 or 4 weeks to feel like I was in control and felt comfortable with the results.
