May i just point you in the direction of this thread.

it IS possible to achieve a big difference in your A1c between one test and another. You dont need a magic wand, just determination to get it right.

I myself acheived a good first A1c result after bein in hospital for 3 days bringing my levels back down at diagnosis. Im also 22.

Dont take the comments made on here as a personal attack because no one on here wants their words to come accross that way. I blame this site for my current level of control... which is a good thing because im pratically sailing with it so far considering the time i've been diagnosed.

Take heed(sp) to suggestions and advise from these people, it works!
