I know the feelling... I also hear sometimes jokes around my diabetes comming from my work coleagues. Sometimes I even don't know what to think: if they are grown enough or are just stupid... if they don't care at all or they just don't realise.
Once we had a birthday party and one guy came to me and told me laughing: "See I can eat cakes!" ... I looked at him like at a very stupid little boy and I asked him if he is very proud of what he said. He realised the stupidness and got shamed, starting to excuse himself...
What can I say? I keep on thinking that they just don't realise what they say and don't intend to make me suffer but, still it is very difficult to keep up.

Be strong Sara! Don't let them depress you...
