What does vomitting do to BG?

I don't mean to be gross but I was wondering if you throw up your dinner, do you need to eat more? What if it was four hours later? Will you get low or did your body already absorb some of it?

I'm so confused. I've been throwing up after meals lately. And no I'm not pregnant! My stomach is really bloated all the time. I'm tired. I get dizzy. I was just at the doc last Thursday for this and she said not to worry, it must be some stomach virus or something. I'm confused. But anyway, what to do when I throw up my meal? Is the BG usually ok? Right now mine's at 225!!! But I wanted to know if I should monitor it over night.
