| Throwing up can many times be the sign of a high BG. If you know you are not throwing up from a high BG then it can be some other illness.
Now, what happens to the carbs that were in that food. Well, if it was 4-5 hours after the meal, then they would have been already absorbed. If it's within 1 hour after a meal, than generally they have probably not be absorbed fully and you could have a low. From 1-4 hours, I'd say they are most likely absorbed unless you ate a high fat meal.
Just another one of those fun guessing games with diabetes and testing more often.
