I'll agree to that. If you vomit relatively soon after eating, it would be like not having eaten at all since the food is now out of your stomach. So you would have taked too much insulin and soon find yourself hypo.

When I've been sick (actually sick like the flu) regular coke has always worked wonders. I've been able to keep it down and ease my stomach, plus it gives plenty of carbs!

I know you said you weren't exactly sick when this happens, but its the closest personal experience I have to relate!
