So sorry for what you're going through! I guess we've all seen it at one time or another. As for relatives in the medical field, I'd rather be hung that deal with that! I have an aunt who is a RN, who stood by whilst my grandmother was slowly dying of cancer telling us all that is was all in her head, she was just fine!
My advise would be to pray for them, they need it! And don't forget yourself, too, so you can deal with having to see things that are so painful to watch.
