| If I am understanding you correctly, when you change the battery the screen says that there is 0 units of insulin in the pump?
In that case, you would just do a rewind and then prime. That should tell the pump how many units of insulin are left in the cartridge. I would imagine that is why you didnt have the probelm the second time.. you would have automatically done a rewind and prime. I think if you leave the pump alone for a few minutes it will come up with that "pump is not primed - no delivery" alarm too.
I could be wrong, let me know if I am. I have changed the batteries in my animas numerous times and have never had to do anything different. =)
