Well, my GP called me (while I was on a plane so he got my voicemail) and I think it's pretty clear from his message that the problem is, he doesn't know that much about diabetes. He actually said, "I don't want to put you on the NPH..." I said, "NPH?!!!! What?!!!" Heh, I figured you guys would understand my horror.

Seriously, if I really wanted to be on NPH, I could go to a pharmacy and buy some. But I don't!! To be fair to the guy, NPH would be really bad for someone like me and maybe that's what he was picturing in his head. Maybe he doesn't know anything about Lantus. Oh, well. Time to find a new doctor.
