I was on NPH + R for 11 years, then Humalog + NPH. I was on that up until March of last year, when I was switched to Lantus and then a pump. I couldn't believe the difference between Lantus and NPH. Then I got my pump, and couldn't believe the difference between that and Lantus.

My biggest nightmare is losing my health insurance and having to go back to NPH (and R).
