My mom made pumpkin and sweet potato pies using Splenda last year ... taste was fine, but texture ... well it looked and wobbled like rubber and just didn't feel right in your mouth, yanno! I know neither me nor my BIL liked it! LOL Now I'm not sure if she used the baking Splenda or just plain ole. My mom's pies are usually to die for .... I couldn't break her heart tho, and told her yea, it tasted alright, but wasn't quite the same! LOL I didn't even finish a whole peice of it

If you give it a shot, lemme know the outcome, and what you did!! I do LOVE pumpkin and sweet potato (prefer sweet tater pies tho )!

I like turkey, especially deep fried, and I can't make good gravy to save my life! LOL I apparently did NOT inherit that gene from my Mom!! ROFLMAO So I bake the Turkey (cuz I'm good at that! LOL) and she does the gravy!!
