I'm not sure if its a newer one or not. I got the letter from the pharmacy that I purchased it from. Mine is about six months old and the first two letters of my serial number are TL. I also have one I just got a few weeks ago with a serial number that starte with a V I think, i'm not sure

I'd have to look at it again.
