Maybe some ways easier some ways not. A pump gives you better control and can make meals and exercise more flexible. It takes more effort to use a pump. You have to be willing and able to test your blood sugar more often, learn how to count carbohydrates among other things. There is more pump information at www.diabetetsnet.com on how pumps are used and what it takes to use one. good luck.
