Exclamation Hello people, been away for long time!

hello everyone, for those that remember me I was the chap from Sout Africa with a lot of hypo problems and was still using Humulin, about a year back I was a regular here, and a lot of precious advice from fellow members here brought my life back on track. Thanks again to all of you and a quick update.

I was put on Lantus & Apidra about 6 months back (maybe a bit longer). Since then I started stabilizing, the first few weeks were a bit of trial and error up and down charade, after that I soon stabilized and learned how to adjust my dosage accordingly.

My life took a turn for the better, as I no longer had the spook of hypoglycemia haunting me. I became more independent, met a wonderful girl as a result and my life changed for the better. I have put on a lot of weight compared to the bag of skin & bones that I used to be, and a lot of my food allergies have disappeared once my blood sugar stabilized (funny one that!).

I have only developed a problem for quite a long time now, and perhaps one of you might have an explanation. Sometimes (not always, but more frequently when I eat it in the eveninngs) I have a problem eating beef. I end up urinating like 4 times a night more than usual. This doesnt happen with any other proteins (eg eggs, white meats, cheese etc) only beef. It's quite puzzling to me to be honest, mostly because it doesn't always happen, but mostly at nite or when I really eat a lot of meat.
