Thanks for you support, all... It was defintely an experience I don't hope to repeat any time soon- I was SO exhausted when it was said and done. It was a day where I couldn't wait to just get home... sometimes that's exactly what the doctor calls for.

I have ordered another serter, b/c God knows this thing could happen again & having an additional one is probably a good idea

. I know I should learn to insert it manually, but being the baby I am, I doubt I'll be able to do it.
