Thank you everyone for taking the time to answer. It's very enlightning to see what everyone else is getting as far as diabetic check. I was very curious!

I was told I can't see an endo. I must be referred by my family doctor first. That's why I'm seeing him today.

I've done as I used to in England before a diabetic check: fasted for 14 hours. Will be 16 when I actually see the doc Ack! They better do a cholesterol test or I'll scream! I have my UK booklet. Urine sample. Meter. BG for the last month. I'm rrrready!!!! So they better be at the doc's. And terribly suffering from coffee withdrawal...
