Hi there, and welcome to the group. It's very nice to meet you. Sounds like you have a great support system in place, and I find that that is sooo important. I'm a type 2, getting ready to go on the pump this Wednesday, talk about excited! lol. I became a type 2 in 1986. I was like you in the sense that I didn't have much at all to do with other diabetics, just kind of tried to do it by myself. I feel so lucky to have found this forum, and these absolutely wonderful people. They are very knowledgeable and supportive, and kind. I know you'll love it here. Don't be shy, just jump in!
