Question How Much?

How much are you supposed to have to bring yourself out of a Hypo?
I was always told to have 2 pieces of toast and a glass of milk (or mug!) but I do find that brings my bgl too high afterwards - I have tried cuttin it down as well but still find it rises too high.

I was then told that to have something sweet before the tosat and milk as they take quite a while to get into the system - is this why is rises so much after?

I know there have been a few threads about hypos recently - and sorry if this has already been answered in one of them...

Thanks for any info.
