| I often correct when the pump tells me not to. As long as I'm not heading out or going to be very busy, if I'm high after two hours I will need a correction. By high, I mean 180+. I wouldn't correct for 160 or 170 at 2 hours. Usually.
The thing I hate is when you put in a BG that's below your target, and the pump subtracts some insulin from the suggested bolus. It seems to subtract too much a lot of times. To try to avoid hypos and get my awareness back, my range is set for 100-140. So if I put in 83, the pump subtracts for that. I now ignore the subtraction of I'm 80 or above, and just manually change the bolus back to the full amount.
