The clinic I go to is sort of like a GP /medical clinic. You might not necessarily see the same endo as previous appointments (but the secretary asks if you have a preference), there is also dieticians, diabetes educators, even psychologists.
We don’t talk in groups, but are seen individually by the endo, then if need be one of the diabetes educators or dietician.
First time I went I only saw an endo. Second time it was arranged for me to see the dietician and diabetes educator.
I try not to worry about the amount of insulin I take. I know I need it, even if it’s a small amount…

I take pred for asthma – usually only 3-4 times a year for 1-2 weeks when I’m sick with a cold / flu / chest infection etc…
