I used those about 20 years ago when I was first diagnosed (they weren't prescription then), and didn't like them. I have to assume the modern ones are better designed, but the old ones would irritate my skin at the injection site, and after a couple of days (they lasted 4 days) it would hurt..... I finally decided that MDI was a lot easier. Now they're touting insulin ports like they've just been invented!
