I do agree that Bernstein is a smart man. I also agree with his ideas about how an A1C and control can be lowed by cutting carbs. My problem with him is this....

1) By cutting carbs you are letting diabetes run your life. You are not enjoying everything that is out there in the foods of life.
2) You are missing important nutrients to help prevent certain other diseases, mainly cancer. Now, one could say by cutting out fruits you may be cutting out cancer depending on how much you believe pesticides play in that rrole, it's basically a double take.
3) Why isn't he more widely accepted? Why don't more people know about him? Why doesn't he go around the country talking about his methods and promoting them? Honestly, I never heard of him until it was brought up in a debate here, which was of course shut down and made me do my own research on him. It just seems like if he has so much to offer he would try to spread his word/methods more.

I for one will be interested in what you think of him Brion and what you have learned from his CDs.

Diabetes is an Art, NOT a Science. You must master the control by skills and not by knowledge alone.
