Hi
weirdly enough, about one month ago I was also diagnosed with type 1 diabetes while on holiday in France. with the same symptoms.
It is definitley a shock. I also chose to go home and deal with it from there. I found that it really helped to be somewhere with the same language and the comforts of home. after about a month I was fine to continue on with my travels as planned.
so dont worry, things will get better faster than u think! there are more people out there going thru the same things! best of luck!
