| I think the way it works is they just raise their prices on prescriptions they charge the insurance company. So say the insulin costs them $60 a vial. They charge the national retail of $90. Then your insurance has an agreement with them to pay $70, well, the company just says they can't do less than $75 and they write the copay off.
Animas has been writing my insurance copay of 20% off since I've been on my current insurance. That's been about $900 I haven't had to pay out of pocket.
