How many people have come on here talking about their doctor wanting to prescribe them a MM pump. You rarely see someone say my doctor suggested I should get a Cozmo or Animas. Heck, I learned in my Insulin pumpers group that my Endo has never prescribed anything but a Minimed for a first time pumper. She only has a handful of patients that use something else and she barely knows anything about them. When I have appointments with her I have to teach her what my pump can do and what changes I can and can't make. And my Endo is one of the top ones in Cincinnati.
