I won't agree totally with that, but it is easier to deal with one thing on your side than 2. I would prefer what I have now, two stuck in me, one on my side.

If you have a seperate pump, say a Cozmo or Animas, I STILL think having a CGMS (MM) is worth it. I don't know about the other brands like Dexcom, because I haven't used them and I won't say they are bad/inferior even though I have read bad things about them. I know how accurate the MM one is, and if someone is toying with the idea of getting one, I'd push them all the way, because I personally use one every day and have found it to be very reliable. Simple as that.
