30 weeks-gestational with isulin.

Hi, I having my little baby 30 weeks now, I got the gestational diabetes. According to the doctors, My baby body is bit big size that it's suppose to be. The body size is about 35 weeks. The doctor have me to admin in hospital the next day immediately and monitoring purpose last week and give me Insulin. I am very worried that would anyone let me know insulin will cause any effect of my baby? One days 3 times with the insulin injection make my life bad and I am having nightmare of worried my baby development. Could anyone give me some advise?

Would my first baby will be fine with the insulin that I take daily?
