Glad you're here.

The only practical advice I can give is to try and focus on doing things that do not require your sight so much. I am just suggesting that to take your mind off, I know it's not a solution...

For example, learn to play an instrument (if you don't already play). I am also getting ready to pick up my guitar again as my sight deteriorated recently. You can learn basic chords from audio courses. But be prepared for some pain on your testing-weary fingertips!
